TRC applies clear and strict house rules, at all times in the interest of the members and the preservation of the community.  

TRC thinks it is very important that everyone feels at home here and treats each other in a pleasant way. To maintain a good atmosphere, we have drawn up house rules about how we want to treat each other. These house rules apply to all members of TRC. Therefore, read them carefully before using the environment. TRC reserves the right to change these house rules at any time. Any changes will be announced via the website and we recommend that you regularly read the house rules yourself.

Contents:

• TRC is a community platform for like-minded ‘Rainbow’ people. Conversations and activities are as much as possible about the content of the topics for people with a ‘Rainbow’ existence and past. 
• Listen carefully to each other to understand other people’s points of view, questions or knowledge.
• Feel free to ask questions, voice your opinion and share knowledge.
• When you ask a new question, start a conversation, or create an event, give the conversation a title that fits the topic. This way everyone knows what it is about.
• When posting a comment, check whether your comment fits within the title/headline/theme of a conversation. If it is actually a new topic, it is useful to start a new conversation. This way you have a better chance of a response to your topic.
• Make sure that conversations do not contain any data that can be traced back to a person. If so, a moderator or the community manager may contact you and remove your post.
• Do not use long texts from other messages or other parts of the website in messages. It is better to refer to these texts.
• Quoting or copying texts from other websites is not permitted. Only after approval from TRC and then always with source reference. We therefore advise you to include a link (opening in a new window) stating the source, which refers to the website where the text is included. Clearly indicate at all times that it does not contain your own text. Observe the copyright rules. 

Inappropriate behavior:

• At TRC it is very important that participants respect each other and each other’s opinion, that everyone talks to each other in a neat and positive (!) way. Participants will not personally attack each other or knowingly or unknowingly hurt each other.
• You are not allowed to make unnecessarily offensive, aggressive, unlawful, threatening, defamatory, hateful, vulgar, sexually oriented, obscene, racist, discriminatory, misleading or otherwise inappropriate or irrelevant contributions. The use of swear words or swear words is also prohibited.
• If you use a language other than Dutch in your contribution, please provide a translation yourself.
• Do you think someone is misbehaving? Send an email  directly to love@theRainbowCommunity.com . Explanation of the behavior is desirable. We respond as quickly as possible and address the person. We also actively monitor the messages on TRC itself.

Privacy & Reclame:

Making (direct or indirect) advertising on the TRC platform or via data obtained via the website is not permitted. This includes advertising, in any way, for your or any third party’s products, services, treatments, manufacturers, suppliers, brands, healthcare providers or websites. Referring to products, manufacturers, website is only allowed if it is informative in a discussion or for a participant who has asked a certain question .

Intellectual property rights and personal data:

• It is not permitted to post articles, blogs, photos or other materials on the website that infringe the (intellectual property) rights of third parties.
• It is not allowed to take someone else’s name, impersonate someone else or use an organization name as a username.
• Furthermore, it is not permitted to mention, distribute or otherwise disclose names, addresses, telephone numbers and other personal details of natural persons (participants or not). It is also unwise to share your own personal information. Think about this before posting. The TRC platform uses the first and last name that you enter yourself. Here you can also enter a nickname if you like it better.
• Finally, it is not allowed to post photos of others without their permission.

Disclaimer:

• TRC is not responsible for the topics that are posted and the comments that are made. This is therefore not automatically the opinion of TRC.
• Make sure your virus scanner and firewall are up to date. When downloading documents, TRC is not responsible for any viruses that may be contained in files. Is there a virus in a file? Report this immediately to TRC. We will then remove the file from the site as soon as possible.

Action of the community manager or administrator:

The community manager or administrator removes messages that do not comply with the rules and the participants are removed in case of repeated abuse. This is because we want to monitor the quality, safety and discussions of TRC. Do you see something that is not in line with the house rules or do you have another question? Then contact TRC directly.

If you believe that the community manager or administrator has acted inappropriately, you can file a complaint with TRC by sending an email with the subject ‘complaint’ to  love@theRainbowCommunity.com

Delete profile?

If you want to delete your profile, you can do this yourself at any time. In this way you withdraw the consent. If you want to be completely removed with your profile, go to the top right of the screen to “Edit profile” and then to “Delete profile” at the bottom left.

If you are unable to organize this yourself, you can indicate this to TRC by sending an e-mail, with the subject ‘delete profile’, to  love@theRainbowCommunity.comt amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Privacyverklaring –  theRainbowCommunity.com

theRainbowCommunity.com (hierna te noemen ‘TRC’)  hecht veel waarde aan de bescherming van uw persoonsgegevens. Ten aller tijde in het belang van de TRC leden. In deze privacyverklaring informeert TRC u daarom over de wijze waarop uw persoonsgegevens worden verwerkt in de online omgeving van TRC.

TRC is een online platform waarop gelijkgestemde ‘Rainbow’ personen elkaar kunnen ontmoeten. TRC bestaat uit verschillende groepen. Na aanmelding voor één van de groepen kunt u informatie uitwisselen met de leden van de betreffende groep. Het doel van TRC is dat mensen die een (ingrijpende) ‘Rainbow’ gebeurtenis hebben meegemaakt herkenning en erkenning vinden. Advies, informatie en ervaringen met elkaar kunnen delen.

TRC verwerkt uw gegevens dan ook:
•    Om uw registratie voor het TRC platform in orde te maken;
•    Om u toegang te geven tot TRC, zodat u bijdragen (aanmaken van onderwerpen en de door u gegeven reacties op aangemaakte onderwerpen) kunt plaatsen, corrigeren en verwijderen; en 
•    Voor gebruikersondersteuning en het beheer van TRC, inclusief het afhandelen van vragen en klachten van gebruikers.

Uitsluitend met uw toestemming worden uw persoonsgegevens verwerkt voor registratie tot TRC.

Om u te kunnen registreren, verwerkt TRC uw e-mailadres, wachtwoord en de door u gekozen gebruikersnaam (nickname/ pseudoniem waaronder de bijdragen worden gepubliceerd). Daarnaast wordt de datum en tijd waarop u zich registreert door TRC vastgelegd en wordt de datum en tijd vastgelegd waarop u voor het laatst actief was. TRC legt daarnaast uw IP-adres vast. 

Uitsluitend de door u gekozen gebruikersnaam en de bijdragen die u zelf plaatst, worden gepubliceerd op TRC en zijn dan ook zichtbaar voor andere leden en/of bezoekers van TRC platform. 

U kunt zich, als lid van TRC, aanmelden voor de verscheidene groepen van TRC. De groep waar iemand lid van is, bepaalt de zichtbaarheid van de berichten en reacties.

TRC biedt twee verschillende versies:
1.    Openbaar: aangemaakte ‘Rainbow nieuws’ berichten zijn voor iedereen zichtbaar, ook voor mensen die niet zijn ingelogd en zich niet hebben geregistreerd als lid van TRC. 
2.    Privé: aangemaakte profielen, onderwerpen, content en reacties zijn alleen zichtbaar voor TRC leden die zijn ingelogd. Reacties, likes e.d. zijn alleen zichtbaar voor ingelogde leden van TRC. Lid worden van TRC geschiedt op eigen initiatief, uitnodiging van of na verificatie door een medewerker van TRC.

Uw bijdrage op TRC kan door andere leden op onbekende wijze verder verwerkt worden en naar eigen systemen gekopieerd worden. Indien andere leden berichten kopiëren voor eigen doeleinden, is TRC daarvoor niet aansprakelijk.

TRC ontraadt u om identificeerbare informatie over zichzelf te publiceren. Indien een lid identificeerbare informatie over zichzelf publiceert kan dit ongewenste gevolgen hebben. Om eventuele nadelige gevolgen van publicatie te voorkomen, kan TRC bijdragen waarin identificeerbare informatie wordt gepubliceerd (over derden) verwijderen.

Intrekken toestemming:
U kunt uw toestemming voor de Community te allen tijde weer intrekken. Indien u uw toestemming wilt intrekken, kunt u dit op eenvoudige wijze doen via love@theRainbowCommunity.com. Als u uw toestemming intrekt voor TRC, worden uw gegevens, die nodig zijn voor uw registratie tot en het verlenen van toegang tot TRC, na tien dagen verwijderd. 

Als u TRC een jaar lang niet heeft gebruikt, ontvangt u een e-mail waarin wordt aangegeven dat uw toegang tot TRC na tien dagen wordt gesloten en daarmee uw persoonsgegevens worden verwijderd. Indien u binnen die tien dagen inlogt op TRC, dan behoudt u uw toegang en worden uw gegevens niet verwijderd. 

TRC bewaart de account gegevens en content van een lid zo lang als hij/zij/het gebruik maakt van de online community. Bij inactieve accounts wordt de inhoud van uw bijdragen niet verwijderd maar voor vijf jaar geanonimiseerd.  Reden van anonimiseren is dat het technisch niet altijd mogelijk is om geplaatste bijdragen compleet te verwijderen. IP-gegevens worden 40 dagen bewaard en daarna verwijderd.

Toegang:
Medewerkers van TRC, die als beheerders van TRC eventueel toegang hebben tot de persoonsgegevens, zijn verplicht tot geheimhouding van uw persoonsgegevens. 

Vragen en klachten:
De Functionaris Gegevensbescherming van TRC houdt toezicht op de toepassing en naleving van de AVG binnen TRC. Vragen over privacy kunnen per e-mail worden gesteld via love@theRainbowCommunity.com

Klachten over de verwerking van uw persoonsgegevens kunt u momenteel enkel per e-mail indienen: love@theRainbowCommunity.com

U kunt ook een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
